I have recognized that the WFH project has resulted in much attention from the proffessionals as well. One example of this is that the audiologist educations in both Sweden and Norway have asked me to come and perform speeches for the students. The reason for why they are asking is not only that they wish to hear about the expedition, but also that they are interested to hear about my ideas about stigma and hearing loss and also hear from my own experiences from growing up as a hard of hearing person.

The visit at audionomutbildningen in Stockholm was a lot of fun and initiated some important thoughts among the students. Their feeling that they are really "helping" hard of hearing people was strengthen during my speech.
